Staff, are skilled to plan for the children in their care. Staff will use use their professional judgement through high quality interactions and daily observations that will enhance the class room planners for each child to play and develop in. This will be through balanced child lead and adult led activities.

English as an additional language

Millies celebrate the diversity of languages spoken within the settings, as well as the educational benefits of speaking multiple languages. We work in partnership with parents to ensure children’s needs, wants and interests are being met and we differentiate learning opportunities to ensure all children are able to access them. Key workers will work in partnership with parents, to settle, build relationships and time to take in a new language while keeping their first / home language.
